Mischa Mackie (Schlemmer) has a wealth of experience in various roles. Mischa began their career in 2008 as an Internship at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD). Mischa then moved on to become Program Manager for the Creative Cities Network at UNESCO in 2008. In 2009, they took on the role of CRM and Business Development at John Paul, followed by Management Executive at Gardiner & Theobald LLP in 2010. In 2019, they became General Manager at CityStudio London and Funding Specialist at Western University. Additionally, they took on the role of International Strategy and Leadership Consultant / Coach at Digital Natives & the Future of Healthy Work in 2009. In 2020, they became a Board Member at Global Institute of Forest Therapy and in 2022, they took on the role of Senior Manager of Strategic Projects at Riipen.

Mischa Mackie (Schlemmer) has an extensive educational background. Mischa holds a MSc-Master’s Degree of Science in Contemporary Urbanism - Economic Development of the Creative/Knowledge Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a BSc - Bachelors Degree of Science in Architecture (Project Management Institute (PMI) accredited) with a Minor in French from Ryerson University, a u.lab: Leading From the Emerging Future from MITx Courses, a Flow Fundamentals from Flow Genome Project, an Executive Coach from Co-Active Coaching, a Whiteness at Work from The Adaway Group, and is currently enrolled in Indigenous Canada (from the Faculty of Native Studies) at the University of Manitoba. Mischa also has Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education from The University of British Columbia, and 4 Seasons of Reconciliation from First Nations University of Canada. Additionally, they hold certifications as an Emotional Inteligence EQ-i Certified Practitioner from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), a LEED Accredited Professional- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC, a Verbal De-Escalation Education Program from National Centre for Campus Public Safety, and a Yoga & Meditation Teacher (200 hour Ashram intensive) from Sivananda Ashram Yoga Camp, Quebec, Canada.
