Shirley Welten

Shirley Welten is a contemporary artist and art professional with extensive experience in the art sector. Since April 2019, Shirley has served as the Maître d'art at Vouch, an innovative platform connecting art buyers with professional artists through storytelling. Currently, Shirley moderates Art Dialogue sessions for Talenthub Inversie and holds the position of Director at Stichting De Lichtkamer, which focuses on analog photography in 's-Hertogenbosch. As an Art Mediator for the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten since October 2017, Shirley facilitates dialogue and knowledge exchange during art tours. Previously, Shirley was the Office Manager at HOVO Brabant Seniorenacademie, promoting higher education for seniors, and served as the Chair of bART, supporting emerging artists with a platform for exhibitions and discussions. Shirley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Avans University of Applied Sciences and attended the Rijksakademie in 2017.
