Marieke Meijers

Marieke Meijers is an experienced project manager specializing in exhibitions, with a significant career in several prestigious institutions. Currently serving as Projectleider tentoonstellingen at Museum Catharijneconvent since June 2017, Marieke also holds the position of projectleider publiek en presentatie at Museum Boerhaave since September 2006, focusing on exhibitions, fundraising, and e-culture. Previous roles include Bibliotheekmedewerker at Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica, where exhibition mounting was a key responsibility, and Assistant of the conservator of books and manuscripts at Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, with experience in restoring damaged 18th Century books. Marieke's academic background includes a Certificate in post graduate studies in History of Art from University of Cambridge and an MA in History of Art from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by earlier education at Stichtse Vrije School.
