Ewout Den Heijer

Ewout den Heijer currently serves as an Adviseur Integrale Beveiliging at Rijkswaterstaat since July 2022. Previously, Ewout worked at Gemeente Den Haag from June 2011 to June 2022, holding various roles including IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, and Senior Systeembeheerder, with responsibilities in administering traffic management systems. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Functioneel Beheerder/CISO at FIU-Nederland from May 2016 to April 2018 and as a Raadslid at Gemeente Zoetermeer from March 2006 to March 2014, focusing on spatial planning. Other positions include Medewerker DTNA at Nationaal Archief, Servicedeskmedewerker at Connexys, and Trainee at DataConcept. Ewout holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from Hogeschool Leiden and has completed a Masterclass in Project Management at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, along with studies at De Haagse Hogeschool and Leiden University.
