Gido Stuurman

Gido Stuurman is a seasoned professional in the field of safety and risk management, serving as the Founding Partner at De RIE Specialist since October 2021, providing essential safety products including the mandatory Risico Inventarisatie en Evaluatie (RI&E). Gido is currently an Adviseur Integrale Veiligheid for Rijkswaterstaat and has owned a consultancy, SSA B.V., since February 2009, specializing in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment, complemented by an MSc in Risk Management and SKO certification as a Higher Safety Specialist. Experience includes roles as an external advisor at RECO, project EHS manager at Siemens, safety advisor for the municipality of Amsterdam, and various safety management positions before and after earning degrees from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, with a strong emphasis on safety training and risk analysis across multiple sectors.
