Jeroen de Jong

Jeroen De Jong is an experienced advisor specializing in water and nature management. Currently serving as Omgevingsmanager for the actualization of N2000 management plans at Rijkswaterstaat since February 2023, Jeroen has held the position of Senior Adviseur Omgeving within the Cluster Kaderrichtlijn Water. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Tauw bv spanned from January 2009 to January 2023, where Jeroen contributed as a Senior Adviseur Water & Natuur, among other roles in project coordination and environmental planning. Additional experience includes project leadership and process management with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, and collaborative projects with local municipalities at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland. Jeroen also played a vital role in executing Natura2000 measures at Provincie Flevoland. Educationally, Jeroen holds a drs degree in Fysische Geografie from Utrecht University, obtained between 2000 and 2005.
