Ahmad Shahgordi is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences since August 2024 and as a Chief Structural Engineer at ANDRITZ, Ahmad has previously held significant roles at Häme University of Applied Sciences, Aalto University, and Ramboll. Ahmad has contributed to major projects, including the Vantaa Airport expansion, focusing on structural design, particularly in concrete and composite columns. Ahmad holds multiple degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from esteemed institutions, including the University of Tehran and the University of Oulu. Additionally, Ahmad is an active member of the RIL - Finnish Association of Civil Engineers.
