Robye Scott, MSC has a comprehensive work experience in the field of human resource management and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Robye has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.
Starting in 1993, Robye worked at Lucent Technologies, Inc as a Senior Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Consultant. Robye'sresponsibilities included preparing responses to employee complaints, investigating and resolving external complaints, and counseling employees on employment opportunity issues.
From 2001 to 2010, Robye worked at BMO Harris Bank as a Senior Diversity Consultant and later as a Senior Manager. From 2013 to 2015, Robye served as the Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusion Employment Compliance at Kraft Heinz Company. In this role, they led efforts to develop compliant government-required affirmative action programs and implemented outreach programs for underrepresented groups.
Following their time at Kraft Heinz, Robye worked as a Principal Consultant at RDS Global Workforce Solutions, providing human capital management advisory services to businesses.
In 2016, Robye joined the City of Chicago as the Deputy Commissioner of HR and Workforce Development, where they played a key role in managing HR and workforce-related initiatives.
From 2018 to 2020, Robye held roles at RDS HR & Workforce Solutions and World Business Chicago, where they served as a Managing Director and Manager of Workforce Strategic Initiatives, respectively.
Most recently, Robye worked at the Office of the Chicago City Treasurer as the Chief Civic & Community Engagement Officer and later as the Chief DEI Officer.
In 2023, Robye is expected to join Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP as the Chief People Officer.
Robye Scott has a Masters of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Columbia College Chicago. Robye also pursued a BA in Communications from the same institution. Additionally, Robye attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
