Daniel Högberg

Daniel Homer is an experienced security engineer currently serving as Security Engineer III at Akuna Capital since October 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Blockchain Security Engineer at Coinbase, focusing on blockchain and smart contract auditing, as well as on-chain monitoring and incident response from January 2022 to January 2023. Daniel's earlier experience includes roles at the University of Toronto as an Assistant Instructor in Cybersecurity, and as a Security Analyst at Hydro One, where responsibilities encompassed supply-chain cyber risk management and security education. Daniel also worked as a Security Engineer at EWA-Canada, an Intertek Company, from September 2017 to October 2019. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on Computer and Internet Security and a minor in Philosophy from Carleton University, completed in 2017.
