Eitan I.

Eitan I. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in information technology and cyber security. Eitan is currently the Director of IT & Information Security at RIMEX Supply, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Information Technology Manager at the same company from February 2022 to April 2023.

In 2023, Eitan also joined the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) as an IT & Cyber Security Instructor, where they continue to work. During this time, they oversaw IT purchasing and budget usage and managed a team of IT technicians and user support representatives. Eitan also gained expertise in Checkpoint Firewalls and network administration.

Before entering the private sector, Eitan worked in the Israeli Air Force as an Information Technology Officer from August 2011 to July 2014. In this role, they supervised defense systems and ensured the operational efficiency of servers and computers through regular maintenance.

Eitan I. completed a Certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy and Risk Management from The University of British Columbia in 2022. Prior to that, they attended See-Security: Cyber & Information Security College from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained the degree of Cyber Security Practitioner with a focus on Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. From 2014 to 2016, Eitan studied Communication Networks, Cloud Infrastructure, and Information Security at John Bryce. Eitan'seducation history also includes attending Wizo Canada High School from 2008 to 2011, where they focused on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Additionally, Eitan has obtained several certifications, such as Certified Cybersecurity Technician from EC-Council, Prepare for the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certification Exam from LinkedIn, and various certifications from Microsoft, (ISC)², Aviatrix, Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., CompTIA, Israeli Ministry of Defense, Fortinet, and Cisco.
