Andrea Ferretti has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Andrea started their career as an Able Seaman in the Marina Militare in 2001. Andrea then worked as a Cadet Engineer for Ignazio Messina & C. and PREMUDA in 2000-2001. Andrea continued to gain experience as a Cadet Engineer and later a 3rd Engineer for Motia Compagnia di Navigazione SpA from 2002-2005. Andrea then joined Saipem as an Engine Room Operator on board the SSDR Scarabeo 7 from 2005-2008. Andrea worked in the Rimorchiatori Riuniti Group as a 2nd Engineer/1st Engineer from 2008-2010, involved in anchor handling and supply operations in the Brazilian offshore. Currently, Andrea is the Chief Engineer at Rimorchiatori Mediterranei, responsible for the safe operation of ASD, Tractor and VSP tugs in various operations such as towage, offshore assistance, and standby recoiling in the Mediterranean Sea.

Andrea Ferretti pursued their education starting in 1995 and completed their high school diploma in 2000 from I.T.T.L. Nautico San Giorgio. Andrea'sfield of study during high school was ship engineering. In 2001, they were awarded a scholarship to attend College marittimo ligure/toscano, where they obtained a Master of Education degree. Andrea'sfocus during this program included marine maintenance, repair technology, Amos purchase and maintenance, IT, naval automation, and HACCP.
