Michael Torbito

Michael Torbito has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Michael began their career as an Engine Cadet at Finbeta SpA in July 2011. Michael then joined Corsica Ferries in March 2012 as a Second Engineer, and later transitioned to the role of First Engineer in October 2017. In 2018, they moved to FINARGE ARMAMENTO GENOVESE S.R.L. as a 1st Engineer. Currently, they are serving as a Chief Engineer at Rimorchiatori Riuniti, starting from July 2019.

From 2005 to 2010, Michael Torbito attended ITN "Leon Pancaldo" where they pursued a degree in Engine Officer with a focus on Maritime Studies. In January 2019, they obtained a certification as Chief Engineer on a ship over 3000 Kw III/2 from the institution Ministro dei trasporti. Additionally, Michael also holds a certification in STCW 95, although the institution and dates of obtaining are not specified.
