Katie Sexton

Chapter Vice President at RIMS Australasia

Katie joined Woods Bagot in 2015 as the Global Leader - Risk, with overall responsibility for the risk management and insurance functions for this multinational architectural practice with offices in Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prior to this, Katie has had roles as Asia Pacific Risk Manager for Jacobs Engineering as well as in the public sector and insurance industries.

Katie’s expertise includes enterprise risk management, business continuity and crisis management, health and safety, insurance, claims management, sustainability, compliance, cyber and data security.

Katie has degrees in health science, history (honours) and a Masters in Risk Management from Monash University. She is also the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for Norfolk Island Regional Council.

Katie joined RIMS Australasia in 2019 and is based in Melbourne.
