Alexandru Pop

Alexandru Pop has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexandru is currently the Business Owner at Thursday Software, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at rinf.tech starting in May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for planning and monitoring the implementation and delivery of multiple projects, with a focus on monitoring and controlling two specific projects in the industrial automation sector.

Before joining rinf.tech, Alexandru worked at Luxoft, where they held various roles. Alexandru started as a Senior C++ Software Engineer in January 2008 and later transitioned to a Senior Java Software Engineer role from March 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they implemented new features for a connector between a PBX and an agent browser app for call center agents. Alexandru also served as a Project Manager/Team Lead from April 2018 to March 2020, managing two teams responsible for testing and deployment of multiple applications in the embedded field. Additionally, Alexandru worked as a Project Manager from March 2020 to May 2021, managing two teams for a large company operating in the semiconductor industry.

Before joining Luxoft, Alexandru worked as a C++ Developer at BATM from December 2006 to December 2007. In this role, they primarily worked with C and VxWorks, fixing bugs and implementing new features for network switch models.

Alexandru Pop earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Craiova, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics. Alexandru attended the university from 2002 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Computerized Project Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București, from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their academic degrees, Alexandru also completed the PMP® Certification Training Course offered by PM ACCESS, obtaining the certification in December 2022.
