Cory VanLoocke has extensive work experience in the field of sales, business development, and packaging.
Cory worked for Ring Container Technologies as the Director of Sales and Business Development, starting from March 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Business Development Manager at the same company starting from April 2014.
From 2010 to 2014, Cory worked at Coveris (formerly Exopack) as the Innovation and Market Development Manager. In this role, they focused on identifying new technology platforms and strategic market opportunities for incremental growth.
Before joining Coveris, Cory was employed at Kraft Foods Group. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Packaging R&D Group Leader, overseeing strategy, new products, and quality improvement for Kraft's single-serve business. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Sr. Packaging R&D Engineer, specializing in Natural Cheese packaging.
Cory's career started at Unilever in 2002, where they worked as a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager. Cory'sresponsibilities included managing the flow of information between the strategic procurement organization and manufacturing facilities.
At Kraft Foods Group, Cory worked as a Packaging R&D Engineer from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they played a key role in growth, productivity, and quality initiatives for the Philadelphia Cream Cheese category, including the development and commercialization of Philadelphia Snack Bars. Cory was also involved in the design, installation, and start-up of custom high-speed filling lines for cream cheese, resulting in significant cost savings and increased operational efficiencies.
Cory VanLoocke obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Cory acquired certifications in Change Management Foundations and Finance for Non-Financial Managers from LinkedIn in September 2021.
