Bolu Zhou began working as a Scientist at Ring Therapeutics in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa from August 2017 to July 2022, focusing on research. Bolu also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Vermont from September 2015 to May 2017, where they obtained their thesis-based master's degree in Pharmacology with a focus on studying cerebral vascular tone regulation through ion channels. Before their research roles, Bolu Zhou did an internship at Johnson & Johnson in Beijing, China, in the HR department, where they assisted with scheduling interviews and setting up interviews with applicants.
Bolu Zhou completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at Capital University of Medical Sciences from 2010 to 2014. Following this, Zhou pursued further education at the University of Vermont and obtained a Master's Degree in pharmacology, which spanned from 2015 to 2017. Zhou's educational journey continued at the University of Iowa, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology and neuroscience, which took place from 2017 to 2022.
