Shamus Smail is an accomplished data analytics and business intelligence professional with extensive experience in various analytical roles. Currently serving as the Head of Data Analytics & BI at Ring since July 2018, Shamus has successfully managed and automated POS reporting feeds for offline retailers, significantly enhancing trend analysis and decision-making efficiency. Previously, Shamus worked at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where roles included Business Systems Analyst, focusing on developing interactive Tableau dashboards to represent sales performance metrics, and Business Analyst Intern, maintaining SAP's Enterprise Performance Management software. Shamus holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2015.
