Johnny Widodo

Johnny Widodo has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and financial industries. Johnny is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ringan Teknologi Indonesia, where they are responsible for building a leading financial services enabler for small business owners in Southeast Asia. Johnny is also a Strategic Advisor for Seeds.

Prior to their current roles, Widodo served as the Chief Executive Officer of TaniHub, where they successfully pivoted the overall business from groceries to fresh categories and achieved a significant increase in gross profit margin. Johnny also reduced operational expenses and implemented various initiatives to optimize the supply chain management. Johnny was also responsible for overseeing the P2P lending under TaniFund.

Before TaniHub, Widodo held the position of CEO of OLX Group Indonesia, where they led the OLX and OLX Autos business in the country and provided strategic direction. Johnny was responsible for the overall P&L of Indonesia and drove new strategic initiatives.

Widodo has also worked for Frontier Car Group, where they served as Director and CEO for the Southeast Asia region. Johnny has also worked as the CEO of BeliMobilGue.co.id, a digital startup platform for selling used cars.

Earlier in their career, Widodo held leadership positions at OVO, PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk, and A.T. Kearney, where they gained experience in financial technology, strategic planning, business development, and procurement.

Before their career in the technology and finance industries, Widodo worked as a Principal Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they managed external stakeholders and pioneered key processes for leading-edge technology.

Johnny Widodo's education history is as follows:

From 1995 to 1998, Johnny attended Karunia High School, where they studied Science.

In 1998, they enrolled in Nanyang Technological University Singapore and pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) degree in Materials Engineering. Johnny completed this program in 2002.

Continuing their education, Johnny pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Materials Engineering from the same university. Johnny was enrolled in this program from 2002 to 2004.

After a break, Johnny went back to Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2008 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Strategy and Finance. Johnny completed this degree in 2010.

In the same year, Johnny also attended the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Elementary Chinese.
