Bill Ferrell

Bill Ferrell is an experienced educator and graphic artist with a diverse background in teaching and design. Currently serving as a Teacher at Sarasota County Schools since June 2024, Bill also holds positions as an Adjunct Professor and Art Instructor at Ringling College of Art and Design since May 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Graphic Artist at Reef Donkey Fishing since June 2018, and a long tenure at Manatee County School Board from August 2003 to June 2024, where responsibilities included Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Teacher. Additionally, Bill taught at Manatee Technical College from November 2015 to May 2020 and worked as a Political Cartoonist for Knight Ridder from 1998 to 2000. Academic qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the University of Hartford (2008-2010), a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design (2000-2003), and attendance at the Illustration Academy in 2006.
