Matt Gissing

Matt Gissing is a seasoned professional in the film industry with extensive experience in production and creative management. Currently serving as the Creative Operations Manager and Head of Production Management for the Film Department at Ringling College of Art and Design since April 2016, Matt Gissing also holds the position of Founder and Creative Director at Active Octopus Creative Agency since June 2023. Prior to these roles, Matt Gissing was affiliated with Slippery Devil Productions from January 1994 to March 2016 as a Writer, Producer, and Production Executive, developing and producing feature-length films in collaboration with various companies. Matt Gissing holds an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
