Matthew Gertler

Matthew Gertler is an experienced educator and administrator with a robust background in mathematics teaching and educational leadership. Currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Ringwood Public Schools since August 2022, Matthew also instructs at Teels Baseball. Previous roles include Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Patersons School for Science and Technology, and project management experience at KPG Properties. Additional roles in education include General Manager at The Strike Zone HPTC, Teaching Assistant at MissionOne, and Substitute Teacher in Ridgewood Public Schools. Matthew's expertise extends beyond teaching to include alumni relations as the Director of Alumni Relations at Newark Academy, where responsibilities included serving as a liaison and creating communications for the Alumni Board. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of San Francisco and participated in the Professional Management Development Program for Community Associations.
