Wenjing Chen

WenJing Chen is a Junior Structural Engineer at Rinker Design Associates, P.C., having joined the firm in June 2021. Previously, WenJing served as a Structural Engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, where stability analysis of various monoliths and structures at locks and dams on the Ohio River was conducted, alongside the development of an Excel program for stability analysis. As Treasurer of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers from April 2018 to March 2020, WenJing managed the annual budget and assisted in fundraising efforts. Additionally, an experience as an Undergraduate Assistant at Virginia Tech involved creating educational materials for Civil Engineering laboratories. WenJing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering, from Virginia Tech, graduated in 2021. Early career experience includes teaching Math and English at Kumon.
