Matthew (Ryan) Dettmering, P.E. has a solid background in engineering with experience in various roles. Matthew (Ryan) started their career as an Applications Engineer at Rinnai America Corporation from September 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they provided sizings and application design information for tankless water heaters, boilers, and furnaces. Matthew (Ryan) also created scaled drawings using SolidWorks.
Matthew (Ryan) then moved on to become an Associate Project Engineer from March 2015 to September 2016, taking on research and development projects for new product design and improvement. Matthew (Ryan) utilized Solidworks to create design ideas, scaled part drawings, and manufacturing and installation instructions.
From September 2016 to April 2020, Matthew worked as a Project Engineer at Rinnai, where they focused on designing and developing new commercial products. Matthew (Ryan) created drawing packages for suppliers, provided bill of materials and literature for manuals and specification sheets.
In April 2020, Matthew was promoted to the position of Systems Design Engineering Manager at Rinnai. Matthew (Ryan) held this role until June 2022, overseeing the design engineering team and managing systems design projects.
Since June 2022, Matthew has taken on the role of Lead Project Engineer at Rinnai America Corporation, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership skills to the organization.
Before joining Rinnai, Matthew also gained experience as an Operations Engineer at Goforth Williamson Inc. from May 2012 to September 2013. In this role, they created scaled drawings using AutoCad Inventor for reverse engineering bearings, shafts, and pump parts. Matthew (Ryan) also designed safety guards and the plumbing system for pump station renovations in the City of Atlanta.
Matthew (Ryan) Dettmering, P.E. completed their education at Georgia Southern University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician. In addition, they also obtained an Engineer in Training License from NCEES in 2012 and a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Georgia Secretary of State in December 2020.
