Omar Rodriguez

Omar Rodriguez has diverse work experience in the banking industry, starting as a Field Representative at SportsCare USA in 2000. Omar then worked at Bank of America as a Personal Banking Officer from 2001 to 2004. After that, they joined Texas State Bank and served as the Debit/Stored Value Card Program Manager from 2004 to 2008. Omar then moved on to BBVA Compass, where they held the positions of Pre-Paid Operations Manager from 2008 to 2013 and Card Operations Manager from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are the Chief Operations Officer at Rio Bank since April 2020, where they previously served as the Branch President from 2016 to 2020.

Omar Rodriguez pursued their education at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they studied Psychology at Texas State University.
