Jacob Armijo currently serves as the Chief Lending Officer at Rio Grande Credit Union since November 2024. Previously, Jacob held the same title at US Eagle Federal Credit Union from June 2017 to November 2024, where responsibilities included managing loan analytics and underwriting Member Business loans. Prior to that, Jacob was a Market President at U.S. Bank from October 2000 to June 2017, overseeing business development and commercial lending across multiple regions in New Mexico. Jacob's experience also includes positions as VP Loan Officer at Bank of Belen, VP-Investment Rep at Quick and Reilly, and Trust Officer/Investment Rep at Sunwest Bank. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from New Mexico State University and completed Leadership New Mexico programs.

Since that time, we have merged with San Ignacio Credit Union and the Albuquerque VA Federal Credit Union and New Mexico Central Credit Union.
