Brendan Marshall

Brendan Marshall is a seasoned professional in the mining industry, currently serving as a Principal Advisor at Rio Tinto since May 2022 and a Fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute since June 2021. Previously, Brendan held the position of Vice President, Economic and Northern Affairs at the Mining Association of Canada from April 2012 to May 2022, where responsibilities included advancing the industry's understanding of critical economic issues and overseeing federal mining policy in Canada's North. Brendan's extensive experience also includes roles at WKM Energy Consultants, the Office of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, and the Office of the Speaker of the Senate.
