Clint Smith

Clint Smith is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in managing civil construction projects and teams. Currently serving as Senior Construction Lead at Rio Tinto since August 2016, Clint supervises over 40 contract employees and multiple contractors for capital projects, specifically the East Weipa Tailings Dam Upgrade. Clint's previous roles include Construction Manager at Civil Construction PNG, Civil/Construction Supervisor on significant LNG projects with Leighton Contractors, and EPCM Civil Supervisor for Fluor & SKM Team, among others. Clint holds a Diploma of Building & Construction (Management) and various certifications in frontline management and project management from reputable educational institutions.
