Gonzalo Caldera

Gonzalo Caldera serves as the Safety, Health, Environment and Protection Manager for Rio Tinto at the Sales de Jujuy Olaroz site since March 2025 and also teaches EHS in Mining and Industrial Operations at UCASAL. Previously, Gonzalo held positions such as Safety, Health, Environment and Protection Manager for Arcadium Lithium and Project EHS Program Manager for Argentina Expansion Project, alongside extensive roles at Livent, FMC Corporation, and Ledesma S.A.A.I. Gonzalo’s educational background includes degrees in Safety and Hygiene at Work, Ergonomics, Environmental Management, and Emergency Medical Technician training. Additionally, Gonzalo has experience in developing safety management systems, accident prevention, and training for various organizations throughout a career spanning over a decade in the fields of safety and health.
