Gregoire de Saivre

Gregoire de Saivre currently serves as Managing Director for Aluminium projects at Rio Tinto, overseeing the safe and sustainable delivery of capital projects for the global Aluminium business since September 2025. Prior to this role, Gregoire held multiple leadership positions at TotalEnergies from 1997 to 2025, including Vice President of Project Delivery for Attentive Energy, where responsibilities included managing a 3 GW offshore wind development. Other significant roles included Head of Offshore Wind Product Line, Vice President of Strategy for Gas Renewables and Power, and Vice-President of Gas Market Analytics. Gregoire's engineering and project management expertise was further demonstrated through various positions managing major projects and overseeing operational engineering across diverse international locations. Educational qualifications include an Auditor degree in Maritime issues and strategies from the French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence and an Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris.
