Jake Gram

Jake Gram is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as the Production Engineering Superintendent at Rio Tinto since August 2023 and previously held the position of Senior Production Engineer. With prior roles as Chief Mine Engineer at Trafigura and Pretium Resources Inc., Jake has a strong background in mine engineering and operations. Additional experience includes acting as Senior Mining Engineer at Rambler Metals & Mining, consulting at Deswik, and working as an Underground Mine Engineer at both De Beers Canada Inc. and Barrick Gold Corporation. Jake began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia and as a Summer Engineering Student at Western Coal. Jake holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
