Kate Forrest

Kate Forrest is an experienced Environmental Specialist at Rio Tinto, with a tenure starting in December 2012, currently focusing on strategic action plans for managing environmental risks in expansion projects. Previously, Kate served as an Environmental Advisor in various capacities supporting the Iron Ore division, including managing compliance for core services, and providing site-specific support at Hope Downs 1. With a strong educational background, Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Climate Change Management and Sustainable Development from Murdoch University and is pursuing a Diploma of Carbon Management. Kate's earlier experiences include internships and field roles in environmental consulting and climate change initiatives, solidifying expertise in environmental management systems and sustainable development practices.
