Remona Murugan

Remona Murugan serves as the Head of Technology Platforms at Rio Tinto since October 2012, holding a CTO position and leading a global team of approximately 300 individuals. Remona's prior roles include Chief Advisor IS&T and Senior Manager Strategy and Governance, contributing to complex business solutions through technology and developing a five-year IT strategy. Earlier experience at Rio Tinto encompasses managing customer engagement and support for the Africa region. Remona holds ITIL Service Management certifications from Pink Elephant and has a secondary education from Richards Bay Secondary School.
