Sarah Galea

Sarah Galea is an experienced professional in event marketing and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as the Head of Events & Stakeholder Engagement at Rio Tinto since May 2023. Prior to this role, Galea held significant positions at J.P. Morgan, including Executive Director - Head of EMEA Investment Banking Event Marketing and Vice President - Co-Head of London Event Marketing, from September 2015 to June 2023. At Barclays, Galea advanced through various roles in event marketing from 2011 to 2015, ultimately becoming Vice President. Earlier experience includes serving as Events Manager at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and National Events & Marketing Coordinator at the National Careers & Employment Expo. Galea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing from Deakin University and attended Caulfield Grammar School.
