Simone Hensher

Simone Hensher has extensive experience in the mining industry, holding various managerial and engineering positions primarily at Rio Tinto and Glencore. Currently, Simone serves as Manager of Technical Services at Rio Tinto since December 2019, following roles as Projects and Engineering Manager and Manager of Mine Technical Services. Prior experience at Glencore includes positions as Chief Mine Engineer and Senior Mine Engineer, focusing on areas such as long-range planning, budgeting, and economic evaluations. Earlier roles at Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations involved overseeing the Mine Systems Department and managing critical infrastructure projects.
