Stuart Peterson is an experienced professional in asset management and engineering, currently serving as the Superintendent of Asset Management & Engineering at Rio Tinto’s Gudai-Darri iron ore operation since December 2019. With a career spanning over 15 years, notable roles include Director and Senior Consultant at Reliability Specialists, where Stuart focused on operational reliability and ISO 55001 alignment, and Maintenance Engineer at Woodside Energy, delivering safe crane operations. Previous positions include various engineering and reliability roles at BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto Iron Ore, alongside an early engineering role at Ford Motor Company. Stuart holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
