Tim S. Barnett

Tim S. Barnett is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the mining and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Rio Tinto since May 2022, Tim has previously held significant roles including Project Director at Caldas Gold Marmato and Project Manager at NewFields Project & Construction Management, where Tim managed a 250 MW solar project. With a strong background in mineral processing, Tim has been instrumental in projects for OceanaGold Corporation, Continental Gold Inc., and as President at Mineral Processing Consultants. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical Engineering from Corllins University, alongside several other educational achievements.
