Tom Rodgers

Tom Rodgers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as Principal - Productivity Partnerships at Rio Tinto since February 2013, focusing on global Value Chain productivity enhancements. Previously, Tom held various roles at Rio Tinto, including Principal Integrated Operations and Analyst Integrated Operations, where leadership and analysis of Iron Ore system performance were key responsibilities. Early career roles included Process Engineer and Senior Engineer, overseeing teams and managing laboratory operations, as well as academic positions as a Vacation Research Student and Undergraduate Tutor at the University of Queensland. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical & Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Data Science from James Cook University.
