Mia Ginaé Watkins

Mia Ginaé Watkins, PMP, CSM, is a seasoned professional in creative operations and community development, currently contributing at Riot Games since April 2022. Notable achievements include managing the rollout of an internal module program, establishing a localization pipeline for Mandarin creatives, and launching training resources within Riot’s Education Reimbursement Program. As the Director of Community Development at Black In Gaming from October 2023, Mia organized a successful five-panel event for BIG FEST and initiated marketing strategies. Previously, at PlayStation, Mia held various roles including Communications Specialist and Community Outreach Specialist, enhancing internal communications and community initiatives. Alongside independent filmmaking from 2014 to 2018, Mia has honed skills in video editing and production, contributing to multiple acclaimed projects in the gaming and film industries. Mia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television Arts from Elon University in 2016.
