Tim Platten

Tim Platten is a seasoned researcher currently serving as a Senior Researcher in Central Strategic Insights at Riot Games since June 2022, building upon experience as a Researcher II in the same department and for Wild Rift. Prior experience includes a tenure as Research Manager at The Sound, where responsibilities encompassed developing research proposals, drafting customized questionnaires, analyzing data, and managing client relationships. Tim's earlier roles at Wintrust Financial Corporation involved establishing data management channels and analyzing community partnerships, while academic experience includes serving as a Social Statistics Teaching Assistant and co-authoring research at Loyola University Chicago. Tim holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government and Sociology from Loyola University Chicago, complemented by a strong foundation in community engagement and organizational effectiveness through various volunteer roles.
