Timon Safaie

Timon Safaie is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Riot Games since August 2018, Timon oversees the development of platform-specific applications to enhance the company's reputation as a fan-focused entertainment entity. Prior to this role, Timon held the position of Director of Development at Neustar MarketShare, where leadership was provided to the development team in creating big data marketing analytics for Fortune 500 clients. Timon co-founded Demonstranda, Inc. and served as Chief Technology Officer, creating MathX, a text editor designed for math input, while also focusing on products that support STEM education. Timon’s career began at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Software Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from UC Irvine.
