Kent Andersson

Kent Andersson currently serves as the Vice President of Construction and Program Controls at Riot Platforms, Inc. since April 2025, bringing extensive experience in program management and construction from previous roles, including AMERS Program Controls Director at Yondr Group and Senior Director of Preconstruction Optimization at Vantage Data Centers. Prior to that, Kent was a Senior Manager at Microsoft, overseeing lease delivery for data center construction in the Western US and Canada, and also managed campus construction programs in Seattle and San Antonio. Kent's earlier experience includes various construction management positions at Jacobs Project Management Co. and BEK CMG, and roles in forest engineering at Crown Pacific LLC, Georgia Pacific, and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. Kent holds an MBA in Project Management from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Forest Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
