Mikel Burroughs

Mikel Burroughs is the Director of Military Debt Acquisitions & Relief at RIP Medical Debt. Mikel has previously worked as the Vice President of Portfolio Acquisitions & Sales at FFAM360, and before that they worked at Warrior for Life (WFL) - Victory for Veterans (VFV). Mikel has also worked at National Veterans Transition Services, Inc. aka REBOOT.

Burroughs has extensive experience in providing healthcare organizations with solutions for their self-pay and self-pay after insurance assets. Mikel has also provided solutions for Third Party Liability (TPL) accounts. Mikel has a unique understanding of the Orthopedic, Neurosurgeons, and Radiology groups, and is able to provide a trusted, secure, and mutually beneficial solution to turn self-pay accounts and TPL accounts into an immediate and predictable source of revenue.

After completing their high school diploma, Mikel Burroughs attended Illinois Central College where they received their associates in arts with a focus in business administration. Mikel then transferred to Illinois State University where they completed their bachelors of science in management. After working for a few years, they decided to go back to school and received their masters of science in strategics studies from the US Army War College.
