Sarah Merrick

Sarah Merrick is the Founder and CEO of Ripple Energy. Prior to their current position, Sarah served as the Vice Chair of RenewableUK's Board of Directors from 2014 to 2017. During their time as Vice Chair, Sarah was instrumental in challenging conventional thinking within the Board and helping to drive the reinvention of the Association. Before their time at RenewableUK, Sarah served as Head of Public Affairs for UK and Ireland at Vestas from 2011 to 2017, and as a Market Economist at Renewable Energy Systems from 2008 to 2011. Sarah has been a driving force in the renewable energy industry for over 20 years, starting with their position as Head of Renewable Energy at the Association of Electricity Producers from 2000 to 2008. Sarah is a leading voice in the fight against climate change and is committed to helping position wind as a critical player in the UK's smart, low carbon future.

Sarah Merrick has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of East Anglia. Sarah also has certification from the Free Electrons program and is a participant in the Free Electrons program.
