Zach Waterfield

Zach Waterfield is an experienced engineer and venture partner with a diverse background in technology and startups. Currently working as an Engineer at PostHog and a Venture Partner at Ripple Ventures, Zach also serves as a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, focusing on investments in top Y Combinator startups. As a co-founder and CTO of Zettlor, Zach developed innovative hiring solutions, and previously contributed to Village Global and On Deck in various leadership and engineering roles. With a strong foundation in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo and ongoing involvement with Y Combinator, Zach has invested in over 20 pre-seed and seed-stage companies, advising multiple startups on engineering and operational strategies.
