Dr. Farah Hameed currently serves as a practicing physician and an Assistant Professor at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine.
Farah received her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her residency at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and her fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine at Northwest University through the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where she won a Baskin Award for excellence in research. She is Board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine.
