David Wiegn

David Wiegn is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in research and community engagement within the healthcare and anthropology sectors. Currently serving as a Research Assistant in the Department of Anthropology at Brown University under Dr. Irene Glasser, David has also held the role of Patient Advocate at Hasbro Children's Hospital with Health Leads, where responsibilities include maintaining contact with community organizations and supporting patients with resource connections. Additionally, David is a Museum Guild Member at the RISD Museum, contributing to event facilitation and programming that enhances student involvement. Previous volunteer experience includes serving as a medical translator in Honduras and participating in a health initiative at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Brown University, completed in 2019.
