Kenesha Hughes has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as a Sommelier at RIS since February 2014. Responsibilities include hiring and training front of house and service staff, managing scheduling, reviewing P&L statements for labor and beverage costs, and overseeing OpenTable reservations and POSi terminal maintenance. Kenesha also excels in wine education and tastings for guests, as well as collaboration with wine representatives to develop new wine lists and pairings. Prior to this role, Kenesha worked at Bloomin' Brands, Inc. starting as a hostess at Outback Steakhouse in 2003, progressing to a service technician until 2013. Kenesha holds a degree from Grand Valley State University, completed between 2004 and 2008.
