Jennifer Sorenson, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Donor Engagement Officer at Rise Against Hunger, where responsibilities include leading fundraising strategies and nurturing relationships across various revenue streams to support the mission of ending hunger globally. Previous experience includes the role of Director of Development at Team Red, White & Blue, where Jennifer raised nearly $7 million annually through diverse fundraising strategies and partnerships. As National Director of Autism Speaks Peer to Peer Programs, oversight included managing major fundraising events, while earlier positions at Ride 2 Recovery and March of Dimes involved strategic event management and development initiatives. Jennifer holds a PhD in Nonprofit Organization Management from Capella University, as well as an MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a BS in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
