Roey Barkan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2011, they started as an intern at The Abraham Fund Initiatives. In 2012, they worked as a Product Management Coordinator at The Iconic, followed by a role as an Assistant Research Analyst at Israel Brokerage and Investment (IBI). Concurrently, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Boston University. In 2013, they became an Affiliate Manager at ironSource. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Senior Account Manager at MediaCom and later took on the role of a Digital Leader - Procter & Gamble. In 2018 and 2019, they held the position of Head of Marketing at Shoperr and Product Marketing Manager at Riskified, respectively. Currently, in 2022, they are an IMBA Candidate at IE Business School and will join Rise.ai as the Head of Marketing.
Roey Barkan's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Southbank International School in London, United Kingdom. They obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate in 2005. Later, from 2009 to 2013, Roey Barkan pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Boston University, double majoring in Economics and International Relations. Most recently, in 2022, they attended IE Business School where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specifically focusing on Business & Technology.
