Steve Young

Steve Young is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Finance Manager and Assistant Controller at Rise Baking Company since December 2018, Steve oversees a team responsible for invoicing, cash application, and fixed asset accounting across nine plants. Prior to this role, Steve held positions at Flagstone Foods from June 2015 to December 2018, where responsibilities included leading the cost accounting function for a $150MM manufacturing facility and ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Additional experience includes roles at Zero Zone, where Steve managed job costing and financial reports, as well as earlier positions in inventory control and procurement at Waymouth Farms. Steve holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Metro State University.
